2006년 그룹 ‘빅뱅’으로 데뷔해 뜨거운 인기를 얻었지만, 안주하지 않고 음악적 욕심을 드러낸다. 첫 EP 「Hot」(2008)으로 ‘최고의 아이돌이 아니라, 최고의 R&B 아티스트’라는 찬사를 받으며 성공적인 솔로 활동을 시작한다. 흑인 음악을 기반으로 한 다양한 장르를 자기 방식으로 소화해 선보여 온 그는 최근 6년 만에 발표한 EP 「Down to Earth」(2023)에 지금껏 내보인 적 없는 솔직한 감정을 담아 대중의 기다림이 헛되지 않았음을 증명한다.
이번 무대는 no:ze(댄스), 리정(댄스), 손예원(기타), 김유성(베이스), 김동민(건반), 황득경(건반), 장원영(드럼), 강이채(바이올린), 백나영(바이올린), 박용은(비올라), 임수연(첼로), 임달균(색소폰)이 함께했다.
