🔥 Carmen Habanera – one of the most iconic and technically insane fingerstyle pieces by Marcin Patrzalek
🎸 This cover took me over a year to complete (not every day of practice, but definitely my most challenging project so far). All my previous acoustic covers this year were basically preparation for this one. I hope it was worth it – thank you so much for your support and activity!
Most covers of this song on YouTube are dropped halfway through or simplified... I tried to stick to the original as much as I could. I’m playing a little slower than the original (150 BPM in the main part and 122 BPM in the bridge, compared to 160–130 in Marcin’s version). Also, since I don’t have a classical guitar, I had to skip the section that originally uses one, and my acoustic guitar doesn’t have a cutaway – which required even more changes.
👉 I want to make a playthrough tutorial with tabs so that everyone can try playing. It’s an incredible challenge, even just learning the intro is worth it!
