This is a complete and detailed Tab and video lesson for the acoustic version of John Mayer's "Gravity" from his VH1 video performance (see the video the lesson is based on here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5Sf2fZWjzQ ). I used that video as well as slowed down audio to construct and proof an accurate tab the video lesson is constructed upon.

At almost 42 minutes, it may be too long and too detailed for some. It has been edited to make it as short as possible while still teaching all aspects of the tune. If you prefer 5 minute guitar videos of guys ripping through the song at performance speed or "teaching" you a highly suspect version of "their way" of playing it then this is not for you ;-)

I believe this is how John Mayer played it on that day (at least that's how I hear it). The song is a living breathing thing, he doesn't play it the same way twice and neither should we, but we can dissect everything he did that day and take the bits we like and incorporate them into our own versions.
