How to play Dimmu Borgir - Mourning palace | Guitar tab

Mourning Palace has been the first song I sang to other people, back in high school. Moreover, Enthrone darkness triumphant was the first album I listened to by Dimmu Borgir and one of the first in general about (symphonic) black metal.
The thrashy central part has been aching me a lot to record since I'm not that technical and used to that riffing, but the overall result is quite enjoyable.

P.S.: one of my three fans suggested me that the muted notes in the thrashy part should be all played with downstrokes, while I played it in alternate picking. Honestly, I didn't even think about it and I don't think I would be fast enough anyway.
