This cover is the first of the entire Altered State album, and I think it is genuinely the best performed and sounding cover on the entire channel.
This album was probably the first album that got me into the technical modern metal world, and it remains as a brilliant album, and a great example that you can be really technical without needing crazy time signatures and complicated riffs and so on.

This is actually one of the easiest parts of the album, and it's gonna take me a while before I have everything nailed as close to this for the other songs.

I hope you enjoy this cover, I put an incredible amount of effort into it, and it really is a pinnacle for the channel.

The rhythm guitar is double-tracked with me playing live on the right side!
