Satch is another hero of mine; both as a player, and as an educator. Although his albums are primarily virtuosic instrumentals, his songs tend to contain strong melodies with a blues/rock element that keeps them from being only ’shred'. 'Satch Boogie' is one of his trademark tunes and is a particularly fun one to listen and play along to.

The most important thing I learnt from attempting this full cover is to STAY RELAXED. It can be very easy to tense up both physically and mentally when approaching a difficult passage but that will almost always cause you to make mistakes and become fatigued. As always, this isn’t perfect but I tried my very best. Hope you enjoy it!
