The Harder They Come" by Jamaican singer Jimmy Cliff was first recorded for the soundtrack of the 1972 movie of the same name, in which it is supposed to have been written by the film's main character, Ivanhoe Martin.
The bassline is very repetitive and not really complicated, but fast as hell. It takes a lot of endurance to play through the 3 minutes and 40 seconds of the song.
